The BLC now offers a variety of classes and programs for SLUSD middle and high school students before, during and after school. Space is limited, so make sure to sign up early for any class or program you would like to participate in. This aerobic exercise class combines latin, modern, and hip hop rhythms for an exciting fast past hour of cardio! Sweat your worries away, let loose, tone your muscles, and move to the beat. No dance background required!  

 
Healing Circle*

This circle is intended to help students develop coping skills after experiencing a traumatic event. *If you think you would benefit from being a part of this circle, please note that you will be contacted by the group facilitator to ensure this group is right for you.

 
Young Women's Circle

Join us for a lunchtime teen support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and two-spirit (LGBTQQI2-S) young people an their allies. Lunch is provided and drop-ins are welcome!


C.A.L.I. Youth

C.A.L.I. Youth (Concerned Adolescent Leadership Involvement) is for middle and high school youth that want to make a difference in their community. Come learn about about issues that are important to young people, including alcohol, substance and tobacco use. 


Cooking Matters

Learn how to prepare fast, delicious and healthy meals on a budget. In this 6-week class, you will prepare healthy snacks that you get to eat, learn about kitchen safety and learn how to cook with new ingredients and techniques!
