  • Seeking Volunteers for TK & Kindergarten Classrooms

    If you are interested in working in either transitional kindergarten or kindergarten classrooms, our elementary schools are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers! Our schools especially need support for 30-60 minutes at a time in the classroom, during recess, and during lunch.

    The Centralized Enrollment Office is located at 2255 Bancroft Avenue, across the street from San Leandro High School.

  • 2016-17 Kindergarten Schedule


    SLUSD elementary schools will be offering full day kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year. The schedule is: 

    • M, Tu, Th, F: 8:10am - 1:50pm
    • W: 8:10am - 11:40am

  • San Leandro Board of Education Approves Resolution Authorizing Bond Measure to Appear on the November 8, 2016 Ballot


    SAN LEANDRO, Calif., June 21, 2016 – San Leandro Unified is committed to providing quality education to its students. District facilities are in need of repairs, upgrades, modernization, and safety improvements to create a safe and modern environment for students.

    The board voted and approved at the June 21st meeting to authorize the issuance of a school bond measure to appear on the November 2016 ballot. Once passed, it will issue $104,000,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, with citizens’ oversight, annual audits and all money benefiting San Leandro children.
