  • Seeking Volunteers for TK & Kindergarten Classrooms

    If you are interested in working in either transitional kindergarten or kindergarten classrooms, our elementary schools are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers! Our schools especially need support for 30-60 minutes at a time in the classroom, during recess, and during lunch.

  • 2016-17 Kindergarten Schedule

     

    SLUSD elementary schools will be offering full day kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year. The schedule is:

     

    • M, Tu, Th, F: 8:10am - 1:50pm
    • W: 8:10am - 11:40am

  • Positive Growth in SLUSD’s CAASPP Results

     

    SAN LEANDRO, Calif., August 24, 2016 – San Leandro Unified School District announced today results for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) for English language arts/literacy standards and mathematics. The preliminary results indicate positive growth in the district’s second year of administering the new assessments.

  • SCHOOL BOARD VOTES TO PLACE BOND ON BALLOT

     

    Bond proceeds focused on making elementary schools “shining gems” of their neighborhoods

     

    SAN LEANDRO, Calif., June 28, 2016 – The San Leandro Unified School District (SLUSD) Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, to put a $104 million dollar bond measure on the November ballot to fund critical school facility upgrades and improvements.
