Services range from medical, dental and health education through our School-Based Health Center (SBHC), to behavioral health and prevention and intervention services. We also provide fitness, nutrition, exercise and positive youth development that supports students to be healthy and safe, so they can be engaged and successful.
The Wellness Center at The BLC works in close partnership with the middle and high schools to ensure that our students are connected to the appropriate services, in order for them to be healthy and safe, in order to be engaged in school and successful in life. Services include:

Native American Health Center (NAHC) is the medical provider at The BLC. NAHC school-based health center services emphasize prevention, integrated care and the removal of access barriers. Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center at The BLC is led by East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC). The Family Resource Center provides the gateway to connect children and their families with health insurance and other social services vital to supporting student health and educational success. EBAC works with district, city, and county personnel as well as other community based organizations to coordinate provision of the following services to families on campuses throughout the school district:
- Healthcare insurance enrollment and retention
- Case Management
- Application Assistance: Food Stamps, CalWorks, Social Security, IHSS, etc.
- Information and referrals for child support, child care, housing, mental health services, etc.
- Assistance with school enrollment
- Translation and interpretation
