Supporting Students to be Healthy, Engaged and SuccessfulThe Barbara Lee Center for Health & Wellness (The BLC) connects students to a wide array of services that support their health and wellbeing. Services range from medical, dental and health education through our School-Based Health Center (SBHC), to behavioral health and prevention and intervention services. We also provide fitness, nutrition, exercise and positive youth development that supports students to be healthy and safe, so they can be engaged and successful.
The Wellness Center at The BLC works in close partnership with the middle and high schools to ensure that our students are connected to the appropriate services, in order for them to be healthy and safe, in order to be engaged in school and successful in life. Services include:
- Prevention and Intervention Classes
- Health Education Classes
- Support Groups
- Nutrition, Fitness and Exercise Classes
- Positive Youth Development Programs
