This is the weekly update for the week of May 22.
Thank you to all the parents who assisted our scholars as chaperones for all of our field trips.
Memorial Day: Just a reminder that there is no school on May 29 in honor of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on May 30.
SBAC: This week students will continue testing in their Science classes. The dates for testing will continue until May 24. Please try and have your scholar at school every day all day to avoid having to make up the tests. Your support is appreciated.
Civilizations Faire: This Thursday, May 25 from 6-7:30 is our Civilizations of the World Faire. Please join the fun!!!
Seventh Grade: Our seventh grade class will be going their field trip on June 2. If your child has not turned in their permission slip, please have them turn it in ASAP.
Locker Clean Out: Students will begin locker clean out on June the 2 with the 8th graders. It’s never too early to start taking belongings home.
8th grade Activities: Just a reminder to all 8th grade parents that as part of the San Leandro Unified School District’s 8th grade Promotion & Activities criteria, 8th grade students cannot have more than 2 F’s in the 3rd & 4th quarter combined. For the detailed criteria, please visit our website. We will also mail home the criteria to all 8th grade parents.
Yearbooks: The 2017 Yearbook will be distributed to students who already reserved one beginning on Tuesday, May 22 after school. Non pre ordered yearbooks roughly 100 will be sold during the last couple weeks of school on a first come first serve basis.
Library: In order to prepare for the closing of the school year the library will no longer be available after school. Thank you for your support.
Mandarin: Our classes have started!! If your scholar is still interested please have them come to the office for a permission slip. The schedule is as follows:

Parent Visits: Just a reminder that if you want to visit your scholar’s classroom, teacher’s require 24hrs notice before visiting. We also ask that visitors report to the office to check in and receive a badge. Thank you for your support.
Lost and Found: There are many personal items accumulating in the lost and found. If your scholar is missing an item please have them check the lost and found.
