Early Release This year our goal is to expose more students to Project-Based Learning (PBL).  For that reason, we have scheduled two more 12:30 pm release days which are Jan 29 and February 27.

2nd Semester  This is a good time to replenish supplies. Our scholars need pencils, paper, and notebooks.  Please support us to make sure our scholars are prepared to succeed.

8th Grade Activities and Promotion   We will be having the 8th-grade parent meeting on January 15th from 6 - 7 pm. It is important that you attend this meeting because we will go over important dates, 8th grade activities, and promotion requirements.

Athletics  Girl's basketball and Boy's soccer seasons began their season this week.  Please support our students when you can.

Wrestling   The 2020 wrestling season is nearly here and all students are welcome to give it a try. It doesn’t matter your size or grade or if you’re a boy or a girl. In fact, Bancroft has one of the best girls teams in the state year-after-year.

The first practice of the season is Monday, January 13, in the cafeteria immediately after school. Wrestling is one of the few teams at the school in which no cuts are made so anyone and everyone can be a part of the team. Students simply need to be willing to try something new and get the golden ticket from Ms. Hernandez by signing up on Family ID.

If you have any questions, please contact the coach, Dave D’Antonio at ddantonio@slusd.us
