What is Lincoln Alternative Education Center?
As a district on the move, LAEC (Lincoln Alternative Education Center) offers a variety of responsive, personalized educational pathways for career and college readiness. By providing smaller class sizes coupled with an inclusive learning environment, we seek to create a healthy mix of course curriculum that focuses on various learning styles. Through this model Lincoln offers two programs to help bridge and usher in our students success in the 21st century.
Lincoln (Continuation) High School is a credit recovery high school designed for students 16 or older who are committed to recovering credits and reconnecting their academic goals. Our Lincoln Scholars take advantage of this second chance opportunity to ultimately receive their high school diploma.
